Lally blue
Lally Blue was the name with which a Civil War soldier wrote letters at the front to his girlfriend. The pen was a kind of game between them, every time one received correspondence, he had to put it back in the envelope. The last letter was the one that Carmen, owner of this beautiful stationery brand, showed me. It belonged to her grandmother and evidently she never knew her grandfather. Her way of remembering him is through the stationery items that she sells with special care.
The blue feather is used for the logo, reinforcing the brand name and its history. A more colorful pattern is created following the main element to create a happier and more updated image.
To develop the project, freehand and watercolor sketches are made until the final feathers are selected. Illustrator and Photoshop are used.
